Removal of technology from Gravis Law offices
Employees are assigned technology as part of their jobs,
which they are responsible for keeping safe and secure (as detailed in our
Employee Handbook 6.11). If an employee is assigned a laptop, tablet, or
smartphone, they are allowed to remove it and portable accessories (mice, power
adapters) from the office at any time. Other assigned equipment that can
be reasonably considered stationary (monitors, docks, desktop computers,
phones, printers, etc.) can only be removed from the office with the approval of your direct supervisor. Serial
numbers and asset tags of moved equipment must be supplied to the Technology
& Innovation department to track the location. Equipment that is
considered shared across multiple people in an office (including TVs, projectors,
conference room phones, larger printers, etc.) may only be removed from an
assigned office with approval from the Technology & Innovation
department.
