Rate Increase Process

  1. Submit a ticket to Legal Ops after getting approval for the rate change from your managing attorney 
  2. Review list of open matters provided by Legal Ops and fill in the requested information
    1. Specify which matters have special arrangements that we need to be aware of (Teamsters, Metlife, ARAG, court appointed, special set rate, etc.)
    2. Close inactive matters and consults
  3. Determine if you'd like Legal Ops to draft and send notice to clients or if you would like to give notice yourself
  4. Update your default rate after 30 days have passed since giving notice
    1. See instructions to update default rate in Clever Case HERE
    2. Legal Ops will assist setting any matter specific rates identified during the review of your client list
    3. Percentage discounts set up in Clever Case will automatically be applied with the default rate change
