File Closure and Document Retention Policy and Procedures (Gravis Clients/Matters)

File Closure and Document Retention Policy and Procedures (Gravis Clients/Matters)

This policy and the procedures concern only Gravis Client Matters, which require a properly executed letter signed by the client electing Gravis Law to continue legal representation on the Client Matter or a presumption of legal representation by Gravis Law.

This policy expressly excludes Closed Matters and/or inactive files of clients that were never represented, nor had a presumption or representation, by Gravis Law. Non-Gravis physical client files are the property and responsibility of the attorney and/or firm who represented the client. See the Policy and Procedure for Non-Gravis Clients/Matters in Knowledge Base: here.
