Westlaw Drafting Assistant

Westlaw’s Drafting Assistant is part of our Westlaw subscription. This is a powerful drafting program that can be used as either a browser based program through the Westlaw portal, or as an add on to Microsoft Word.

To obtain the Microsoft Word add on, navigate to the Company Portal via your Start Button on your computer and select the Drafting Assistant program to install (if needed, additional directions can be found in Mark’s attached email from 2/8 titled Tech Tip: Install Software on PC from Company Portal).

This program will be especially useful for our Business and Litigation teams, but has a lot of value for brief writing and drafting purposes in general.
