Release Notes and Known Bugs in Clever Case

Release Notes for Clever Case

Release 3.12.1 - June 9, 2020

Bug fixes include:
  • Filters on Your Time were disappearing if you added a time entry.
  • Adding notes was previously broken with the default (WYSIWIG) editor.  We’ve switched to default to the Markdown editor while we explore this further
  • Adding phone numbers and email addresses were difficult (if for an individual) or impossible (for an entity)
  • Full day events were displaying incorrectly

Release 3.12 - June 5, 2020

New Features:
  1. API created to allow file storage to happen in SharePoint/Epona
  2. Able to apply some Clever Case updates with no downtime, helping speed up deployment of fixes
Bug Fixes include:
  • Sorting of tables of data is fixed, including timecard entries (various people reported this one)
  • Fix the ability to go to settings for non administrators (Reported by Cat)
  • Productivity chart was showing incorrect time, including minutes for hours (various people reported this one)
  • Removed filter button that didn’t function in associated time (Reported by Amber Macki)
  • Matter category editing now properly toggles (for admins)
  • Speed improvements for displaying search results, especially when viewing 100 entries and using an older browser (Reported by Ashely and Asa)

Release 3.11 - May 14, 2020

New Features:
  • A modernized look and feel: continuing on with the redesign in February, the Clever Case interface has been redesigned to move navigation to the left hand side (which you can hide for maximum space). The upper tool bar has a refined time card area, new icons, and a simplified look.
  • PNC Tracking: we now have handy buttons to track if a consultation took place and if they became a client.  This gets rid of the old “Consultation” matters that had to be closed, greatly streamlining PNC matter creation!  Preston will email with more information and instructions.
  • CRM Tracking: additionally, we had a wealth of information that Comms was tracking in an Excel spreadsheet about how someone found out about us and whether they were a qualified lead.  These data points can now be collected in Clever Case.
Bug Fixes:
  1. Time card improvements: on occasion, your running time might have shown incorrect time or seemed to go backwards in time (though it always saved the correct time).  The time card code has been completely redone, showing you more reliable information at a glance.
  2. Other Bug fixes for stability

Known Bugs

  • X Buttons:  On some dialogs, you’re unable to close the box by tapping the X button.  Instead, you can work around it by pressing cancel.
  • Notifications: The order of notifications might be out of order (while we don’t use notifications much yet, more is coming)
  • Your Time: On some screens, you might not be able to see the "Action" column without scrolling horizontally
  • Notes: Creating notes with the WYSIWIG editor is not possible.  For now, please create notes with the defaulted Markdown editor
  • Deleting an item: If on page two, and deleting an item removes all items on page two, does not render page one after deletion
