Email messages that claim to be from some Gravis Law employees, but sent from non gravislaw.com email addresses, will be flagged with a warning. This antispoofing check will flag messages claiming to be from a manager, but sent from an outside user (a common technique of phishers trying to get passwords or gift cards).
What you’ll see: if you receive one of these flagged messages, you’ll see an alert at the top of the message stating:
The alert will also include a link for more information. In the future, these messages might go straight to your junk mail folder.
Important things to know: If we have a client with a very similar name to an employee, their messages might be incorrectly flagged. If a message is flagged when it shouldn’t be, please reach out to me on Requests Hub with a copy of the message. Also, we’re limited to 60 names to search for, so it’s possible not every bad message will be flagged – it’s still important to check the from address of messages you receive before you respond.
