Include Primary Attorney in invoices sent to client using Carbon Copy (CC)

Are you an attorney that wants to be included in emails of invoices when they go out to clients? You can now enable a Clever Case notification, which will put you as a CC of all invoices sent to clients when you're the primary attorney on the matter!  This allows you to have additional visibility in what is sent to the client, and means that clients who hit "Reply All" on the email will automatically include you in their communications back.  This setting is OFF by default, and is an all-or-nothing setting at this time (you cannot enable it for specific clients or matters).

  1. Log in to Clever Case
  2. Tap on your name in the lower left, then click on Settings.

  3. In the menu under "Personal", tap on "Notifications"
  4. Find the setting "Carbon Copy when Client Invoice is sent" and check the box next to Email
  5. Once you check the box, your setting is saved automatically.  Tap on Dashboard in the lefthand navigation to exit the settings menu

This feature is for invoices sent via Clever Case only, which will be virtually all invoices sent starting May 1 2023.  This setting does not apply to invoices sent with our accounting software Xero, which might still be used for special invoicing requests.
